Dale has over twenty five years of broad experience in the real estate industry. After graduating from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and serving as a planner for the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Regional Planning Agency, he begin his career in real estate as Vice President and National Leasing Manager for a shopping center development company that developed centers across the United States. After several years of traveling across the country in this position, he and his wife Peggy started a family which motived Dale to start his own real estate businesses in his hometown of Chattanooga. In 1994, he established CDM Realty which later became Cornerstone Realty Group. In 2002, he also established Cornerstone Construction Group which has developed many of the area’s premier residential communities and constructed many of the communities’ homes. The years of owning and operating these real estate related companies have afforded Dale a broad range of experience and expertise that is utilized in delivering professional services to the clients of the Cornerstone Companies.

His long term involvement in the community has also afforded him a broad base of knowledge of Chattanooga and the surrounding areas and has displayed his commitment to the Chattanooga area community at large. Some of this involvement on the professional side included serving 22 years as Chairman of the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission, the first chairman of the Downtown Development Committee and President of the Homebuilders Association of Greater Chattanooga. Some of the involvement on the personal side included being a volunteer for and contributor to numerous community organizations such as the Big Brothers-Big Sister Association, the Interfaith Homeless Network, church food banks and youth recreation associations. Dale has a proven commitment in offering and maintaining a high level of professional services while continuing his person commitment to the betterment of our communities and its people as a whole.
